Wolf Tracking Course - February 5-11, 2012
Utilizing the nearby Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest for field study and the Trees For Tomorrow campus as a base station, Teaching Drum Outdoor School and the Wisconsin DNR Wolf Recovery Project present this week-long intensive wolf study. Participants will be taken deep into the heart of the pack's territory and learn how to track and read signs left by the wolves. Mornings and evenings will be spent planning and reviewing the days activities, over breakfast and in front of the fireplace at Trees For Tomorrow. This unique course will be lead by David Moskowitz and Dave Scott from the Wilderness Awareness School.
Tamarack Song, author and founder of the Teaching Drum School, will also bring his experience tracking and living with this areas wolves to this rich learning environment. Join us for an experience of a lifetime!
