Forest Fest - The BEST Fest in the Midwest!
A Celebration of All the Forest Has to Offer

Thank you to our 2017 Sponsors!

Our goal with Forest Fest is to educate the general public about all of the products we enjoy and rely on that come from our forests.  Also, as a successful organization, we have a responsibility to give back to the community we thrive in. Participants include forestry and logging professionals, fine artists and crafters, businesses, organizations and associations from landowners to trappers and governmental agencies.

This year's event has been moved up one weekend to July 29, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Our 2016 event brought 750-800 area residents and visitors to the Trees For Tomorrow campus in Eagle River.

Forest Fest features logging equipment demonstrations, a lumberjack breakfast, arts, craft and food vendors, exhibits, horse-drawn wagon rides, children’s activities, chainsaw carving, papermaking, historical logging equipment, and more!

Exhibits and programs celebrated all the forest has to offer and focused on: wood harvesting, wood products, wilderness, the forest, wildlife, water quality and recreation. Demonstrations from logging industry professionals talked about the history of logging, current safety practices, harvesting, transporting, and preparing wood for use.  There were several exhibits that demonstrated how wood is used to make everyday products.

All proceeds support natural resources education for youth!  This is a free event, open to the public.  We graciously accept suggested donations of $5/person, $20/family.  Donation not required for attendance.
