Trees For Tomorrow is seeking community volunteers to assist with education, maintenance, marketing, special events, and retail work on our beautiful, 30-acre forested campus. TFT has been in existence since 1944, and has continued to facilitate natural resource workshops for K-12 students, college students, teachers, adults, and the general public in the wise use and management of our forested lands for the past 70 years.
We are currently searching for volunteers in the following areas:
Education Programs – Volunteers will assist our education staff in presenting wildlife, forestry, water quality, orienteering, cross-country skiing, and snowshoe workshops for school and adult groups. Ongoing training will be provided. Formal teaching experience is NOT required.
Maintenance – Those wishing to utilize their building and maintenance skills will help our maintenance director complete special campus projects.
Marketing – Our events coordinator is seeking people to assist in marketing events and programs on a local, state, and regional level.
Retail – Volunteers will help run our Center Store, a very popular spot for students and adults who are interested in purchasing souvenirs, books, and clothing.
Special Events - Assist with various aspects of our special events including Scholarship Golf Outing (last Friday of May), Forest Fest (first Saturday of August), and other events.
