Trees For Tomorrow is seeking community volunteers to assist with education, maintenance, special events, and retail work on our beautiful, 30-acre forested campus. TFT has been in existence since 1944, and has continued to facilitate natural resource workshops for K-12 students, college students, adults, and the general public in the wise use and management of our forested lands for the past 72 years.
We are currently searching for volunteers in the following areas:
Education Programs – Volunteers will assist our education staff in presenting wildlife, forestry, water quality, orienteering, cross-country skiing, and snowshoe workshops for school and adult groups. Ongoing training will be provided. Formal teaching experience is NOT required.
Maintenance – Those wishing to utilize their building and maintenance skills will help our maintenance director complete special campus projects.
Retail – Volunteers will help run our Center Store, a very popular spot for students and adults who are interested in purchasing souvenirs, books, and clothing.
Events - We have several volunteer positions available to assist with various aspects of our special events including the Golf Outing fundraiser (first Friday in June), and Forest Fest (last Saturday of July), and our fall Banquet Fundraiser.
